The Marlborough A&P Show 2026
SATURDAY 7 NOVEMBER 2026 - 9AM - 4PM
Join us for the Marlborough A&P Show 2026 and soak up the atmosphere from 9am – 4pm on Saturday 7th November.
The action kicks off early, with Equestrian and Dog Trial competitions running on Friday 6th November.
Saturday is all about family fun, with a full day of entertainment and classic show favourites. Enjoy show jumping, wood chopping, and a wide range of livestock and competitions including pets, pigs, poultry, sheep, and shearing. Plus check out the creative, handmade, student section as well – creativity at its best.
There’s something for everyone, with delicious food and drink options, a great range of trade sites, live music entertainment, a licensed bar, and of course, the ever-popular amusement area.
Don’t miss two of the Show’s biggest highlights – the crowd-favourite Terrier Race and the iconic Grand Parade.

Cash out facilities are available from upstairs in the Pavilion but we do recommend bringing cash and a lot of trade sites will have EFTPOS facilities available.

There is limited Member/Equestrian and Trade parking within A&P Park. Equestrian Parking Access is from Alabama Road only. Trade/Member parking is from Maxwell Road only. Please be patient as access to the Park can be very congested with exhibitors and pedestrians. Please be courteous at all times to our volunteer gate attendants. Disabled parking is accessed via the Maxwell Road gate entrance.

First Aid is available at the St John stand located beside the Main Arena.

Please direct all lost children to the main Pavilion.

The Show Office is located on the first floor of the A & P Pavilion, A&P Park, via Maxwell Road.

Please abide by the safety rules and signage at A&P Park. Follow instructions from Marshalls and Show Officials. Parents, please ensure that children do not enter livestock pens or enclosures. Do not poke, hit or irritate animals. Please ensure that you and children in your care do not stand behind horses, cows or bulls – they may not see you there. If you visit the Show with small children we suggest you write your cell phone number on their arm. Should they become separated from you; staff can then easily notify you. The roads within the Showgrounds are open for Emergency and Show vehicles, horses, cattle and other livestock, particularly around the Main Arena and Cattle Rings. Please be aware of vehicular and animal traffic around the Showgrounds particularly if you have children in your care.

All reports of theft and lost property can be made at the Show Office, located on the first floor of the A&P Pavilion near the Maxwell Road entry.
